Two weeks ago, I was talking about the new and massive 600 to 800 metres long and 50 metres deep quake canyon that was created after the New Zealand’s quake.
Well here the first footage of this giant piece of land that just disappeared after collapsing after this month’s magnitude-7.8 earthquake.
After already showing pictures of this unbelievable earth’s collapse, now there is a video.
According to the video recorder, Peter Turner, this new canyon is between 600 and 800 metres long and 50 metres deep. Incredible!
The new 800-metre-long, 50m-deep landmark is the result of the destructive magnitude-7.8 earthquake that ripped through North Canterbury this month.
The new canyon was typical of damage to people’s properties in the area. There are lots of other properties all around the area that are devastated.
It’s just gone . . . There’s obviously must have been a huge crack half a mile into the ground that everything just fell into.
