A strong but very deep earthquake hit 34km NNE of Ndoi Island in the Republic of Fiji, in the South Pacific Ocean, on September 1, 2019.
The very deep earthquake struck at a depth of more than 600 km (373 miles) at 3:54 p.m. UTC.
No tsunami warnings have been issued.
Somebody reported feeling it on the USGS homepage. That is really amazing I would say!
