Two dead, at least 50 injured and infrastructure collapses after a M6.5 earthquake struck Leyte Island on July 6, 2017 in the Philippines.

The extremely dangerous earthquake hit Leyte Island in the Philippines on Thursday. The epicenter of the 6.5-magnitude earthquake was 10 km deep, 10 km southeast of the village of Canhandugan. The power of the quake was first estimated at M6.9. Keep safe and have prayers for those suffering!

      • I’m an American, I love my nation. HOWEVER, there is the rest of the world that counts as well! Yes, the quake in Montana is important but so is the quake in the Philippines (and others around the world). What happens in another nation MATTERS (to me, at least).
