Great white sharks are not uncommon in New Jersey during the summer months.
But when it started to attack the chum basket, then it started to get scary!
This was first a great surprise, when fishermen off the coast of Cape May, New Jersey, discovered they were being followed by a great white shark last Saturday, June 21, 2014. WOW! What an amazement, what a beauty!
But after 20 minutes swimming gently around, the 16-foot shark completely ripped the team’s chum basket of fish from the side of the boat. Scary!
