On February 6, 2016, a bright mysterious fireball exploded in the sky of Denmark and Sweden, creating a loud bang.
Many kilos of the space rock have been collected… Meteorite fall.
A gigantic fireball illuminated the sky of Greater Copenhagen at 22:08 on January 6, 2016.
The actual meteor has not be caught on tape, but several surveillance cameras caught the flash on tape:
The meteor explosion triggered a very loud bang followed by rumbling noises that lasted 20 to 30 seconds at Roskilde. Birds woke up and piped up in gardens and nearby wetland.
“En komet eller meteorit,” siger en ekspert fra DTU Space.

According to another witness, the sky lit up gradually. Then it became green and the light changed into purple before fading away. The long rumbling started five minutes after the sky show.
A 50g-meteorite piece was found in Ejby at Glostrup. Moreover, several kilos of space rock have been found by Rene Rasmussen in Herlev:
