It has been 7 days, 12 hours and 53 minutes since it last erupted.
Over the past few weeks, the geyser has been following a semi-regular pattern of erupting about every five to seven days.

I did have a peak and the local8news of Idaho falls article had the author as “Staff Writer”, unlike other local8news articles like Katie Kelcher and others. I think no one wants to take ownership of the video or the article. I would look into this one and decide for yourselves if you want this article to go into your archives. It would be wise to look into the steamboat history yourselves to confirm the numbers. I know Mary Greeley is a veteran Yellowstone Researcher of many many years, with additional research, experience, and knowledge to match the professionals, if they were to be as outspoken and observant as she has been. I am sure she would like to have a thorough look at the info. It is obvious that local8news is more intent on preventing preparation than providing accurate information and edification. The article does not hold up to scrutiny, IMHO.
