An plane observer reportedly took the photo while the aircraft was over the Military Operating Area at Edwards Air Force Base in California, flying in a racetrack pattern at an estimated altitude of 20,000 feet.

After posting the photograph from what could very well be the Air Force’s shadowy RQ-180 spy drone on Instagram, it then mysteriously disappeared.
Then, Rob Kolinsky (@sundownerstudios) who had saved the Insta post, published the picture of the mysterious plane on Twitter, pointing out that the mystery aircraft looks like the B-21 Raider bomber.

And the undefined aircraft does indeed look like the new B-21 Raider bomber, a new strategic bomber being developed by Northrop Grumman.
So, what is this mysterious UFO?
According to Aviation Week & Space Technology, the aircraft looks like the long-endurance, uncrewed drone RQ-180, designed to conduct intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions against targets guarded by modern air defense forces.
However, the RQ-180’s existence has never been confirmed by the U.S. Air Force.
Or was it the P-175 Polecat?
I would say it really looks like a prototype of either Polecat, B-21 or the RQ-180 being tested over California. Anyway, what was this drone looking after?
