If you add the massive earthquakes that hit Iquique at the beginning of the month, springtime in Chile has been quite hard and bloody this year! The terrifying Valparaison wildfires destroyed 2,900 homes and burnt to death about 15 people while injuring hundreds more. It started last Sturday, April 12, 2014 on a hilltop of the city before reaching a densely populated area as reported by AP.
