Baseball-sized hail has pounded homes and cars across Nebraska, as powerful thunderstorms swept the Midwest, wreaking extensive damage, severe flooding and even reportedly tornado touchdowns in some areas on June 3 2014.

According to US National Weather Service winds gust of up to 85 mph were measured in neighboring Iowa, blowing off the roof and breaking lots of windows at the Rath Inn in Missouri Valley Iowa.
In addition, eight unconfirmed tornado touchdowns were reported across Nebraska.
