After snow in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, now freezing cold weather and snow in tropical Laos.
Temperatures dropped under zero and frost covered roads, rooftops and the forest. Unprecedent in this tropical region.

You might not believe us, but freezing cold weather hit the Southeast Asia between the 24-27 January!
The deepest temperatures in Laos were recorded in the Houaphan province.
It is in this region of the country that the Nam Et – Phou Louey national protected area is located.
Yes, there was even snow on the roads.
The unexpected freezing temperatures went even below zero. A rarity in this tropical region.
Who would have thought we would now get freezing temperatures in the jungle?
Our climate is really going crazy.
