The sky is on fire! And it seems that large fireballs have decided to strike the sky around the world in the last few days.
After Finland on May 12, 2016 and Brazil on May 16, 2016, it’s now over northeastern US – especially in Maine and Vermont – that a giant meteor disintegrated on May 17, 2016 in a loud boom. Insane videos!

This dashboard cam video was filmed by a Portland, Maine police cruiser on early Tuesday morning:
This video shows the meteor from the Burlington airport, Vermont:
This next footage was captured in Plattsburgh:

Did you hear a sonic boom? Yes! And there was a 3-5 min delay from the time the fireball exploded and the very loud boom that shook homes and rattled windows.
Now watch these awesome videos from the loud fireball over southern Finland on May 12, 2016 and the bright meteor over Brazil on May 16, 2016.
