Yesterday, a 20-foot hole in the roof of a tunnel at Washington state’s Hanford nuclear waste site opened up in what officials called a ‘serious situation’.
Although everyone has been accounted for and there is no initial indication of any worker exposure or an airborne radiological release here some radiation detectors that may be of importance for ou and our family if you live close to the site.
