We’ve found some bigfoot morel mushrooms lurking in the Iowa woods!
Michaela Welch sent in this photo of her grandfather, Everett Garr, and the bigfoot (morchella crassipes) morels he found in southern Iowa two weeks ago.
Finding bigfoot morels are usually a sign that the morel mushroom season is near the end in the area the mushrooms were found.
