New earthquake swarms in the south of La Palma. More than 115 in 48 hours. Get ready for the tsunami!

Seismic activity is slowly moving towards the southern part of La Palma. This is where a giant landslide could trigger a devastating tsunami.

Within the last 2 days, more than 115 earthquakes have been located in the southern area of the island of La Palma. Twelve of them were felt by the population and even four reaching an intensity III-IV in the epicentral zones. The largest earthquake, a M3.7, occurred at 19:14 UTC yesterday evening.

Something big is brewing! This guy even suggests a new volcano could soon start erupting on the southern part of the island… Terrifying, no?

As in previous days, the depths of the hypocenters are between 10-15 km with the exception of 6 earthquakes that hit at greater depths (30-36 km). This new swarm rattles the same area as the seismic series in 2017, 2018 and 2020.

The mean amplitude of the volcanic tremor has presented has presented different pulses in the last two days, coinciding with the moments in which the activity on the surface intensified.

The column height measured at 5:30 UTC is 4,500 m, a similar value on the previous days.

The Cumbre Vieja volcano on the Spanish island of La Palma is now erupting even more aggressively after weeks of gushing lava, Spain’s Instituto Geográfico Nacional (IGN) said Sunday.

Lava from the La Palma volcano has reportedly increased the size of the island on the western shore by 30 hectares. Streams of lava have been spilling into the Atlantic Ocean following the eruption.

The volcano’s activity “continues to be intense” and a new crater was discovered Saturday, the Canary Islands government and IGN said in a joint statement.

The eruption is estimated VEI2:

The Canary Islands Institute of Volcanology (Involcan) has shared this video of the damage caused by what it refers to as “volcanic bombs” being released by the erupting Cumbre Vieja, amid significant explosive activity in the volcano.

“It doesn’t look like it’s close to ending yet, because of the millions of cubic meters of lava that the volcano is throwing out,” said Canary Islands President Ángel Víctor Torres at a press conference Sunday.

More than 1,000 homes have been destroyed since the volcano first erupted, according to the IGN. The volcano’s earlier emissions also sent clouds of steam, smoke and toxic gases into the sky, forcing local residents into lockdown.

So do you think this latest seismicity in the south of the island means another crater is about to open up and that this new erupting spot could trigger a landslide so huge it will produce a cataclysmic tsunami that will destroy parts of Africa, Europe and America? I do!

  1. Looks like the island will break the OTHER way towards the African coast and not the American east coast?

But this is unpredictable, of course. The island could be on the chopping block for it to go the OTHER way too.

    • As the latest developments are shared online, many social media users are also sharing a longtime theory that the eruption could cause a tsunami that would reach the East Coast of the United States.

  2. We may have a tsunami from the Madrid fault going in possibly only a few months times as i5s a ticking time bomb right this moment which could make it’s way all the way to London UK but not this

  3. The Canary Islands has long been a concern because the accumulation of hardened lava has formed a shelf that could slide into the Atlantic Ocean. The theory goes that this would push a huge wave across the Atlantic to hit the East Coast of the US. However, since water could escape in all directions, this would soon be no more significant than a pebble dropped into a puddle. Such a drop into the Atlantic at the Canary Islands would result in a void, quickly filling from the splashed water, while swirling around.

    • The flank has a volume of 1.5 trillion metric tons…

That’s the part which is concerning. That’s enormous mass.

  4. Do you actually buy into the BS they are spewing? Most Tsunamis start within 250 miles of land, but those that ravel long distances loose their energy and at about 3300 miles from our East coast anything happening off the coast of West Africa will be substantially reduced by the time if reaches America. Actually if there is a slide it would be at most directly aimed at Puerto Rico which is still over three thousand miles from La Palma.
There are BS artist in every profession because they believe it gives them clout to keep people in constant fear with fear porn. DON’T BUY INTO THEIR MANIPULATIVE IDIOCY…….

    • Well, the mega tsunami would perhaps lose power at greater distance; however, it would still be devastating. Even though it isn’t likely, the recent earthquake swarm and lavab0mbs suggest activity is ramping up.
I do agree with your statement on fear porn in other cases. This case looks more serious than last week. I went and looked up historical mega tsunami events from volcano creating big landslides. Several cases on file. Clearly the beachfront properties would be affected on even a dissipated mega tsunami. Probably wouldn’t go too far inland on the east coast, but there are large populations that would be hit with beachfront properties. If I were on the east coast I would prep for it. Better be safe than sorry.

Here is a supporting analysis. Exerpt below, since most people don’t investigate.

“Cumbre Vieja is the main volcano on the island of La Palma and has erupted recently causing large cracks to grow involving the significant motion of the western volcano flank. This has caused speculation that this flank could collapse. The flank has a volume of 1.5 trillion metric tons and models suggest that if it were to collapse it would generate a tsunami 1000 m high that would be 50 m when it arrived in Europe and along the eastern coast of the US. Because this scenario would be devastating to cities including New York, Boston, and Miami as well as coastal real estate in New Jersey, North and South Carolina, and Florida, it has been rigorously investigated by scientists.”

  5. Predictive programming has a date set for 10/10Lapalma used as cover for weapon used off coast of NY to cause even more devastation by flood. They have put flood memorials all over the hoboken for one.The shhh…statue means slaughter Jesus meaning us the sheep.

  6. Tsunami related, I mean if it comes: How do you prep the oats and rice for your dog? And what is a good price for a sack of oats?

    • Eril
You prep by accumulating inventory. Rotate stock every six months.
Hot water is what you use to prepare rice and oats. I added peas, eggs, ground beef, peanut butter. Stir it around.
      —Boom, dog food.

I have to use Quaker oats out here. I used to get rolled oats at healthfood store in the bin with scoop by the pound. Dogs will eat oats without hot water too. Cold water, soak, stir.

  7. I live in Florida. If we get no warning, there will be no getting out of here, even if we are personally prepared, which we are. There are only 3 interstates out of Florida and during hurricane evacs, the whole state goes north, as there’s nowhere else to go. The highways, even when reversed are at a dead stop. Gas stations are backed up for miles and all you can do is pray that they still have some by the time you get to the pump. Much like the 1970s gas crisis.

A problem I have is my elderly parents. My dad, who’s almost 90, is slow, but he could make it if it was just him. But my mom is almost an invalid and has a ton of health problems. There’s no getting her out, so my dad says he’ll stay with her, no matter what. I understand that, but there has to be some way? I’m not so sure I could just leave them to drown. It would kill me. I have a spouse and three adult children living with me, so I can’t just stay with my parents and drown, too. Any suggestions? They’d be much appreciated.

    • Someone said the entire State of Florida is only 4 feet above water. So if a massive tsunami came the entire State would drown.

You should keep that in mind about your parents. Nice, sir, you have concerns about them. I took care of me mum when my father died till she passed.

    • Distressed Nation:
Not sure what the property looks like and proximity to nearshore.

Depends alot. Yeah, I’ve read others mentioning the problem with getting out of town, on emergency notice.

May have to fortify (sandbags) or way of diverting water away from residence. Board up lower windows if in a two-story structure.
The videos on the Indonesian tsunami weren’t the 100 meter high type tsunami, but they were very destructive. That’s what concerns me on easter seaboard down the line. All that debris gets flung into structures.

    • None of my business but why do you have 3 adult children still living with you? Put them the hell to work. Make them responsible for once to take care of you and their mom. Good grief.

  8. Yeah, that does look bad. That lavab0mb looks nasty too. If you live on the Eastern sea shore, better think about your bugout bag, and take a vacation to higher ground. Take your pets with you, and go camping?

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. I always try and do that myself. That way you are working at solving a problem. Don’t panic, take steps toward solving problems. When you are prepared, then fear will not overwhelm your logical thinking. Also, pray alot. It works.

    • When you prep, you can prep for your dogs by buying bags of rice and sacks of rolled oats. Easy prep, and I feed my dogs rice, oatmeal, peanut butter, peas, eggs, and ground beef. Every single day. Much better than crappy dog food poison from redchineseys.

We are being deliberately attacked. The multipronged attack I mentioned.
If a landslide displaces enough mass, then it will trigger a mega tsunami headed toward east coast. Combine that with food, medicine, and supply shortages. Add a million rapefugees a month.
Currency manipulation, maybe another bioweapon, and complete anarchy will ensue. Martial law will be invoked.
Prepare accordingly. It could be an actual zombie apocalypse scenario. You are your own first responder.

Looks like we were right all along. Natural immunity and herd immunity work better than a fake vax.
The con game should be over, but it is not. Half the population is too stupid, and they’ve been poisoned. They can’t sue, and when they die, their family can’t sue. The family will be dead too.

I will be the only person left in my family. They all drank the koolaid, and the clock is running. 18 months from now will be hell on earth.

New York fired 1,400 healthcare workers over vax mandate. Now the national guard will be injecting you before you enter a hospital probably. Or strap you down, and inject you. I remember when this whole kung-flu crap started. This friend said, this isn’t a depopulation agenda. I said you’re wrong. It is, they’re all liars. CDC, WHO, AND UN.
18 months ago I said that, and I stand by that too.
