The storm core caused local lightning, strong winds and hail, even medium-sized, which also destroyed the rear windows of some cars parked in the central-eastern neighborhoods of the Piedmont capital.
Temperatures plummeted from 32 to 24 degrees in the space of about ten minutes.

Civil Protection has had to activate the warning for violent weather in nine counties, especially in Central Catalonia. In addition, the Inuncat plan has also been kept active for many hours.
One of the most affected points has been Sant Pere de Torelló, in Osona, where stones with a diameter of between two and four centimeters have fallen, causing significant damage to the town.
The episode of strong storms this Friday afternoon has left hundreds of people affected in its path through Sant Pere de Torelló. The hail has broken the windows of around 300 vehicles and caused damage to the vast majority of roofs in the municipality.
The Sant Pere de Torelló Council has counted up to a thousand homes in the old town damaged by the effects of this Friday’s hailstorm. Add to that the damage to almost 300 cars and 30 of the 40 companies in an industrial estate.
