Santa Barbara, California, U.S.A., December 20 2012 – A series of jolts or “booms” were heard through the Tri-counties.
Sott reports that a series of jolts or “booms” were heard through the Tri-counties. The first one hit at 9:34am in the Santa Barbara area followed by at least a half dozen more over the next hour. They were not related to seismic activity although the U.S. Geological survey website shows a 2.6 magnitude quake hit the Cherry Valley area in Riverside County at 9:34am. The booms may be related to military exercise (aircrafts flying over). However there were no military activities reported in the area. The jolts happen in Sky, something called “air phase”. The weird sounds are similar to what the Navy does in Northern California when they blow up older explosives. These blasts can be felt for up to 100 miles away.
