Strange architecture: Did China construct a stargate – The ring of life ?

If you once walk around Fushun, a city in the Northeast China’s Liaoning Province, you cannot miss an enormous, 157 meter high, 3,000 tons heavy iron ring called the “Ring of Life”. It is illuminated by 12,000 LED lights and looks definitely like a kind of time machine for large, very tall people, for giants!

Is it your taste? Well it must have been at least a “chinese puzzle” for the architect. Not practical? Yes probably but challenging! Officials with the Urban Construction Bureau of Fushun explained they gave up on creating entertainment projects because the local population is too small. Thus, the landmark building is only for sightseeing.
