What are these strange booming noises and shaking heard and felt in the Paso Robles area?
A Facebook follower from Paso Robles post yesterday on the Strange Sounds Facebook timeline the following message:
I’m not sure what’s going in Paso Robles, CA…but I heard several booms tonight, one was so loud it startled me and it made everything in the house shake, like the beginning of an earthquake.
This has been going on for weeks and there are no reports about it, that I’ve found. No one else seems to notice or mention it!
If you’re hearing thundering sounds and booms in the Paso Robles area, California, they are part of a military training exercise taking place at Camp Roberts and Fort Hunter Liggett. Similar booms and shaking will also be felt over the weekend in Calhoun County, Alabama.
