Something terrifiyng was discovered in an unmarked Egyptian sarcophagus and then all around the world!
Look at these screaming, undead faces staring at you! Creepy!
In 1886, Gaston Maspero, the head of the Egyptian Antiquities Service, discovered an unusually plain burial box without any identification information and containing a body wrapped in sheepskin (unclean for ancient Egyptians) whose hands and feet had been bound mysteriously. And then, he finally uncovered the head and found this screaming, undead face looking back at him. OMG!
This mummy has been dubbed Unknown Man E. Many hypotheses about his death have been enounced: poisoned, buried alive or tortured before death.
But is actually going on here?
If the jaw isn’t strapped shut when a body is mummified, it naturally falls open during the process of decay, leaving a permanent “scream.” And this is why these screaming mummies are found all over the world.
Even if the rational explanation is boring. the mummies are pretty impressive, no?
But let say they had the best orgasm of their life just seconds before dying.
