Strange Sounds in England – May 19, 2014… Maybe you have an explanation for these booms?
I’m from England, I was lead to this blog after searching “strange jet like noises in the sky.” It’s 1:20 in the morning right now and for a whole hour iv been kept awake by a increasingly loud jet like noise. The sound begins like it’s across the street right above the houses but as it gets louder it seems to get closer as if it’s a airplane right infront of me. I woke my mum she also heard the sound but she automatically assumed it was a airplane. I videoed this sound but it doesn’t seem close to the sounds I’m hearing with my own ears. I don’t know if this has anything to do w a storm as the weather in England has been hot and humid for the past 4 days and all of a Suddon we had thunder and lightening tonight. The noise keeps starting and stopping but is keeping me awake. Does anyone have a explanation? A thunderstorm?
Loud booms in Ogden, Utah – May 15, 2014
I’m currently in Ogden Ut, the booms just ended. I see many people have heard them what makes me nervous is they are happening rapidly for about 10-15 mins. The last time was about 30 mins long – sounds like fireworks but with rapid fire like a shooting range no light or sparks and no clear direction. The last encounter was about a week ago I believe – wish I knew what the heck it is and why it keeps happening. The first time I heard them was very different living in Roy it sounded like a giant transformer ( yes I know how that sounds) was stomping across the city towards the mountains, shaking the entire house and way to big and low to be anything I currently know as real to be making it. That was a year ago.
Strange Sounds in Junction, Texas – May 9 and 10, 2014… It’s not the first time!
Evening of May 9th & 10th. Camping in Junction, TX. 9:30 @ night or so. Distant, but brief, sounds of thunder or jets. But as others state, no fading. This kept up for 20 minutes and then it was gone. No airports anywhere near here and the weather was clear.
