This amazing video shows how it looks like when a hill collapses.

In 2010, a mountain collapsed in Maierato (in Vibo Valentia) due to bad weather. Nobody was injured but two hundred people were evacuated.

It’s an old video from a small town near Vibo Valentia in Calabria (Italy).  A large landslide occurred on February 15 2010 at Maierato, Calabria, southern Italy due to heavy rain. Luckily, there was no loss of life or property. According to reports, a few people were still in their homes as the mudslide started.
