A landslide in Santa Catarina Pinula in Guatemala, left at least 26 dead and 46 wounded.
The landslide buried 68 houses in the village. Officials estimate that 600 people are missing.

So far 34 people have been rescued. The immediate priority is to rescue people who may still be alive.

The orange alert has been declared by the Executive Secretariat of the National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction.

This landslide may have been caused by heavy rain that have been pooring over the region since September 27, 2015.

The remaining houses left standing in the area are at high risk and had to be evacuated. Prayers!
