The March 9th 2016 total solar eclipse is over.

At first skywatchers were afraid not to be able to see the eclipse. But then the morning clouds parted just in time for totality.
Although cloudy during totality, this sky event must have been a fantastic experience.

When the shadow hit Ternate, the temperature dropped from 91.3F to 82.5F and the humidity increased from 73% to 85%.
