0

A missile designed to shoot down an incoming warhead has been launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in Central California on May 30, 2017.

The missile will attempt to fly over the Pacific Ocean and intercept some sort of “target object” being launched from the central Pacific Ocean.

Here the launch of the rocket at around 4pm from California:

The Ground-based Interceptor is part of a missile defense test to simulate a North Korean ICBM aimed at the U.S. homeland, according to the Air Force base.
