Anyone Needs a Dried Dragon Lizard for Decoration?

You never know what you are going to find in a Chinese shop.

Ivory powder, toad venom, dear antler velvet and a dry flying dragon lizard.

Anyone want a dried “lizard” on a stick? What is this even for? View Source

  1. You make tea with them! It’s supposed to help with frailty, when I was a kid my parents bought a male and a female dried lizard (men drink the male ladies drink the lady). The smell alone is enough to make you rethink drinking dried lizard tea, the taste was worse.

  2. IIRC, dried lizard isn’t used so much for food, as it used for traditional Chinese medicine. I think they put the dried lizards into a vat of alcohol until the lizard has completely dissolved, “extracting the medicinal benefits” of the lizard.
