What was planned to be a wonderful and romantic evening turned out to be a nightmare for some of the 4th of July 2013 fireworks spectators in Simi Valley California.
At 9:20 as the first one was set off, a malfunction occurred causing shells to fly into the crowed. Here two close-up videos of what the explosion sounds like. Also listen to the people: panic screams and cries! I think it was terrible!
The guy who caught the video was with his girfriend and his dog watching the fireworks like every year here in Simi. But as he writes on the liveleak website: ‘this time things went bad before it even started’
