ITAWAMBA COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA)–Law enforcement officials said they don’t know what caused a loud boom to be heard throughout the county. Leaders said they also heard the boom and watched the windows at their Itawamba County Sheriff Department tremble but know one knows what caused it.
The WTVA newsroom answered several calls from viewers in Itawamba County who also heard the boom. Deputies continue to investigate.
