This underwater sinkhole suddenly appeared out of nowhere and swallowed the bottom of a creek in Romblon, Philippine Islands.
The hole in the ground has raised concern among parents and authorities in the area as the creek is a common play area for local kids.
According to GMA News Online, the 1.8-meter-deep collapse was discovered by 2 kids over last weekend.
Parents are now scared about their kids being sucked up into the hole.
Sinkholes are usually depressions formed by the collapse of the surface above a hidden space in the ground. So maybe it will even get deeper.
A technical diver however says that the sinkhole appears to be stable. There are no ground movements, it is not expanding.
But authorities have cautioned residents to stay away from the sinkhole.
