The fireball was caught by a dashcam camera while streaking across the sky in Bastrop.
The meteor was bright white, but right before it exploded it turned a reddish-orange.
The time stamp indicates the first video was filmed in October of 2016, but the Rexing dash camera was new and the driver didn’t have time to set the date on it. Heresome more videos of the sky event:
