We need clean water to survive. But Fracking is turning the beautiful America into a toxic hell!
These map show where you shouldn’t drink tap water in the US.
The map below shows the US waterways and aquifers in blue and the main natural gas reserves (most active hydraulic fracturing areas in the US) in red.
I am concerned about the impact that fracking has on water. Would you drink this water?
But, of course it is a complete hyperbole to claim that all people who live in a red area on the first map will jeopardize their health if they drink their tap water. Yes, not all of the red areas are contaminated. Only in areas where fracking activity is high as shown in red in the map below:
New York State is also shown in red because companies plan and are TRYING to get the okay for hydraulic fracturing.
The highest water contamination will be found in areas where oil and gas companies drill. The map below shows the explosion of contamination and diseases caused by living in close proximity to oil drilling, or natural gas fracking sites such as: oil and gas air quality issues, fracking water contamination, methane and hydrogen sulfide leaks, pipeline spills, leaks and explosions, all threatening US aquifers and thus your drinking water!
So, you have to be very careful if you live in a fracked area, especially if you live near a hydraulic fracturing site.
Your tap water, the air you breath, the meat and fish you eat may be contaminated and poisoned by the chemicals and other toxic substances used for fracking. FILTER and TEST YOUR WATER!
Although fracking can make you rich overnight, do not think about money! No, please think first about your health, our health, Earth’s health and the next generations!
