A large sinkhole, measuring 50 feet long and 20 feet across, opened up before noon in a parking in DeLand, Volusia County, Florida on the 24th of January 2013, uprooting a large tree and damaging some power lines. I might grow say officials. Just besides, there is a farm. Homeowner and workers are scared. Nobody was injured and a company was called to fill the sinkhole up specializing in filling sinkholes has been called. I think this is not the cure! Sustain the ground! People can remember that another pit opened up in the area some years ago. – WFTV
