A key source of Reuters signals that North Korea is preparing one or even two more nuclear tests to force the United States into diplomatic talks with Pyongyang. These new tests could be accompanied this year by another rocket launch. North Korea conducted its third nuclear test on Tuesday. So a fourth and fifth nuclear test and a rocket launch is on this year agenda.
This week’s underground nuclear test of a new, “miniaturised” device (are 6-7 kilotons so miniature) was widely condemned by the international community and was aimed at coping with “outrageous” US hostility that “violently” undermines the North’s peaceful, sovereign rights to launch satellites.
But the new shedules and plans shown that North Korea is not afraid of further international sanctions and seems to be confident that its agricultural and economic reforms will boost grain harvests this year, reducing its food reliance on China which also condemn the latest rocket launch. – Huffington Post
