Quincy is being overflown low and slow every clear night by a manned aircraft of some sort. The FAA admits that the flights are authorized, but refuses to divulge any info to anyone. Even when it’s all over the news and flying over metropolitan Boston area.
Who is flying around the city from dusk to dawn, for the past ten days or so? Every night for nearly the last two weeks, residents have spotted a low-flying aircraft doing loops over the city. WBZ has learned the FAA knows what’s going on, but the agency isn’t telling. It’s not the state or local police doing the flying, and the FAA is giving out little information, even to city officials. When it’s secret, it’s SECRET.
There is no visual of the aircraft in this report. People are wondering if they are doing surveillance or testing. Not even the Mayor can get a decent word about it. Officials are inundated with calls but the FAA is not allowed to say anything, not even when it will be over. I would have liked to have heard a description of the plane. It is not a drone, they said. But since it only flies at night, people can’t get a great look. – CBS Boston
Maybe you should try to shoot it down! The problem would be then resolved! At least, it makes one very curious.
