Mysterious Booms in Seymour Indiana June 7 2013
Residents of Seymour reported loud booming noises which shook windows and vibrated dining room tables in the Seymour area (6 miles apart) and seems to come from above. Possible sources: No fireworks, no gun shots, blasts? Sonic boom?According to the USGS, the only recent earthquake activity in the region was at 6:28 AM on June 7 2013 in Sylva, NC. An still unexplained booms was reported in west Seattle (in Gatewood, Lincoln Park, and Lowman Beach areas) at around 2:45 am on June 7 2013, which woke up many residents and their pets. A person thinks it could have happened some distance away, to the east. Any ideas about what it could be? – West Seattle Blog
Unexplained booms heard in Marlborough (Ma) on Saturday June 8 2013
Marlborough Police is not sure about the source of the booms. Booms may be related to a training exercise at Fort Devens which is situated in the towns of Ayer and Shirley, in Middlesex County and Harvard in Worcester County in the U.S. state of Massachusetts. – Patch
Booming noises related to demolitions training at the McCrady Training Center in South Carolina
COLUMBIA, SC – Residents in the immediate vicinity of the McCrady Training Center in Eastover heard loud booming noises from approximately 10:00 a.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m. Saturday, May 8 2013. The source of this mystery thunder was related to demolitions training of S.C. Army National Guard at the McCrady Training Center. – WTOC
