An extremely rare ice circle over 50ft wide formed in North Dakota’s Sheyenne River before starting spinning.
This naturally-occurring phenomenon has developed due to high air pressures, which quickly froze parts of the warm river water.
Parts of the ice were then picked up by an eddy and started to spin, picking up more pieces, thus resulting in a over 50 feet wide, fascinating and rotating ice circle.
