Many Rogers County residents report hearing and feeling a loud ‘boom’
People in Claremore, Catoosa, Inola Verdigris and Pryor in Oklahoma reported hearing and feeling mysterious loud booming sounds on Saturday night, Jan. 25 2014. Reports vary according to time (between 8:30 p.m. to 9 p.m).

Rogers County Sheriff’s Office, Mayes County Sheriff’s Office and Claremore Police have received calls reporting the loud booming noise. However, it’s source remains uncertain as neither explosions nor public safety issue were reported.
Is this related to fracking? To a frack quake? Or even to an earthquake?
Today, Oklahoma was struck by a 3.2 magnitude earthquake. Yesterday, it was jolted by a 2.6 magnitude quake. So the region is pretty much active. These loud booms could be thus related to an even lower magnitude earthquake (not registered by the USGS seismometers). They could also be related to fracking triggered quakes as for Texas.
Tell us what do you think is the source of these mysterious booms?
