You probably remember, about one year ago, a horse was pulled out of a natural sinkhole after it got dangerously stuck in mud, in Shepton Mallet, Somerset, UK.
Well, this occurred time, something similar has occurred about 120 miles west in Bashurst Hill near Horsham. An elderly horse was rescued after getting stuck in a six foot sinkhole several hours on Saturday, March 23, 2014.
Firefighters, armed with winching equipment, spent four hours yesterday afternoon getting the horse out of the sink hole. The horse was left in the care of its owner and vet. And can continue running around!
