Every dog has its day — and for Cooper, it was Monday, when the family dog was found protecting a North Dakota toddler who was reported missing for nearly seven hours.
Carson Urness, 3, from Cooperstown, was reported missing from the family farm at around 7:30 p.m. But just as the search was called off and the rain was starting, at about 2:00 a.m., a volunteer spotted the missing boy, who was laying underneath the dog.
After a medical check, the boy is in good health. He only had cold feet thanks to the dog who kept him warm.
