Sundogs and midnight sun are amazing phenomena already when separatly witnessed.
Now imagine being in Norway, enjoying the last day of midnight sun which suddenly creates an eerie sun halo over the ocean. AMAZING, no?
Have many people ever seen a combination of sun halo during midnight sun? Well I doubt! But these weird sky phenomena were experienced simultaneously near Bleik, Andøya, Norway on July 21-22, 2014. Stine Bratteberg indeed photographed these fantastic sundogs that appeared near midnight on the last day of the summer Midnight Sun here in northern Norway.
