I would call this an apocalyptic water main break! A major blow out!
Look at this destroyed pavement at the scene of a water main break in Macomb Avenue in Sioux City, Iowa. That’s insane!
This is the kind of things you don’t want to happen around. Due to overnight temperatures below zero, a water main broke and destroyed the entire pavement in the 2800 block of Macomb Avenue leaving about 15 homes without water in Sioux City.
Look at these amazing pictures! Everything is gone, broken, as if a bomb had just exploded in the middle of the street. But no! It was just a 16-inch watermain in which water froze.
It’s a major blowout resulting in an insane street collapse. As if a sinkhole had opened up underneath and swallowed eveything on its path!
