Exactly one month ago, a total solar eclipse occurred over parts of Indonesia including Sumatra, Borneo, and Sulawesi, and from locations in the Pacific Ocean.
These lucky guys were able to reconstruct the most realistic display of the solar corona at the exact moment the sun disappeared.

The original pictures were taken by Mikhail Semenov (Saratov) using a refractor ED80 (D = 80mm F = 600mm ) on a Canon 650D camera and Andrew Oleshko (g.Kubinka) using Canon EF200 F / 4L (aperture was 4.5) and Canon 550D cameras.
