What looks like a war injury or even a grenade attack isn’t what you think of even in your worst nightmares.
No this teen from Brighton was left bleeding from an ocean swim by mysterious bugs, what are believed to be “sea lice”, that started devouring chunks of raw meat just after as shown in this video:
This Australian teen had the ear of its life, as when he went for a dip at Dendy Street Beach in Brighton, he walked out with tiny marine creatures eating his legs.
The mite-sized flesh-eating sea critters devoured Sam Kanizay feet and ankles. His father qualified his injuries as war injuries.
As described by BBC: ‘Sam described feeling pins and needles in his legs after standing waist-deep in dark cold water for about half an hour. After shaking off what he thought was sand coated around his ankles, he walked across the beach before looking down and realising that his feet were “covered in blood”. “It looked like a war injury… like a grenade attack. It was really bloody” his father told BBC News.
The father collected thousands of these mysterious creatures, which were sent to some experts. A marine biologist believes that the bugs are lysianassid amphipods, or sea fleas, tiny scavenging marine animals.
Well I wouldn’t go swimming there before I know what these flesh-eating bugs have disappeared.
