For the second year in a row, as a large hurricane threatens the United States, some swear they see a face in satellite imagery of the storm.
The face reminds me of a face that appeared in imagery of Hurricane Matthew a year ago. You remember?
The satellite imagery above was captured as Hurricane Irma made landfall along the coast of northern Cuba. And it really looks like a demonic face of a pig or an elephant!
But it seems to be a recurent phenomenon when a large hurricane threatens the USA. Last year, as Hurricane Matthew moved away from Haiti, a haunting, almost terrifying face appeared in satellite imagery.
Just hours after the face appeared, the deadly Matthew storm hammered Hispaniola, killing hundreds of people. Early reports say that Irma devastated parts of northern Cuba.
