As reported by Outbreak News Today, anthrax has killed over 300 buffaloes in Lake Nakuru National Park in Kenya. The outbreak is ongoing and the number of animals affected is steadily growing. The mass die-off has about 10% of the 4500 buffaloes living in the reserve. Other animals like rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, elands, impalas, warthogs and Thomson gazelles have also been touched by the Anthrax outbreak.
In India, now, a mysterious disease is killing goats and panic farmers. Symptoms of cold and fever were diagnosed for all dead goats. As for the Anthrax outbreak in Africa, it seems that the Indian goats contracted the disease after grazing and only at night.
Guys I would not eat this meat!
