Ball lightnings are rather rare phenomena occurring during thunderstorms!
However they remain unexplained and baffle scientists around the world.
Such events have been reported all over the world, but scientists are still unsure how they form and have different hypotheses about the nature of these eerie sky events such as: St. Elmo’s fire, luminous dust balls, small molten balls of metal or even hallucinations.
