People have long reported seeing ball lightning during storms. However, nobody has been yet able to capture a close-up view of the strange phenomenon on film until now.
A Chinese research group says they have been able to measure the spectrum of light emitted by the rare and elusive ball lightning. This would be the first scientific recordings of ball lightning in nature.
