As you may have noticed it, military trainings have increased within the last few weeks. The reason is unknown. It might only be related to the end of winter. Here are two loud booms advisories from bases in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
Aberdeen Proving Ground Noise Advisory Harford County Maryland- March 25 to March 28 2013
Following army trainings which ended yesterday afternoon, loud detonations are also expected to be heard and felt from March 25 to March 28 2013 around Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. However, if weather conditions are not favorable in minimizing noise off the installation, firing will be rescheduled. Well I am not so sure about that! – Aberdeen Patch
Fort Indiantown Gap Loud Booms Advisory Lebanon County Pennsylvania – March 22 to March 24 2013
An artillery live-fire exercise will take place between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Friday, March 22; 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. on Saturday, March 23; and 8 a.m. and noon on Sunday, March 24 at Fort Indiantown Gap in Lebanon County. Live-fire exercises using 105- and 155-millimeter artillery are announced in advance as a courtesy to nearby residents. – Fox 43
