Run baby run! This video features “thousands” of yellow jackets attacking a camera. The nest measures around 3 feet tall x 2 feet wide (dimensions of an American made, electric dishwasher).

The popping sounds are the insects striking the camera. It is so amazing. I wonder if they just didn’t realize it was there or if they are just that clumsy. Also it’s amazing how many insects live in such a small place!

I did not know that wasps, hornets, bees, or most insects in general, were highly territorial. This really freaked me out! What about you?
