It seems that China has failed pretty bad there!
Instead of a nice artificial lake, they have created a huge (four football fields long and ten meters deep) desert.
This beautiful lake was planned for leisure but again everything went wrong. Officials wanted to tap a natural water source called “Dragon Lake” and remove hundreds of thousands of tons of sand around it. Dragon Lake dried out and the dug-up sand began to spread.
Now the sand is ten meter deep over an area of four football fields. Do I have to explain how angry Zhengzhou’s residents are?
