A giant sinkhole swallowed a portion of an Avondale street just below a Metro bus which got stuck in it near the Cincinnati Zoo on Thursday night.

The bus was partially stuck in the a 20-foot-deep hole that spans 15 feet wide near the intersection of Vine and Shields streets around 9:30 p.m. The bus was towed overnight. The sinkole was created by a problem with a sewer pipe which runs 30 feet under the road.
